The Dragon Syndicate is an ancient organization, originally founded during the Ming Dynasty. It has survived and prospered over the centuries. Slowly building power and influence like a dragon hoarding treasure.
It may be the most powerful 'underground' organization currently in existence.
Overly the centuries the Syndicate has accumulated wealth, power, artifacts, etc. They are rumored to be behind some of the worlds greatest tragedies, political upheaval, for example the assassination of the Austrian Arch Duke Ferdinand which ultimately led to World War I.
Each member of the Syndicates ruling body, the 'Circle of Wyrms', are given a set of enchanted armor and weapons.
Nikolai wears the Jade Dragon Armor, and wields the ‘Ukus Drakonov’ (Dragon’s Bite) battle axe.
