So yesterday I drew up this Phoenix and I was floored with how she came out... so floored I HAD to color it, not often do I draw something that makes it so I have trouble sleeping until I do more work to it but this one definitely did. So Instead of drawing today, I decided to color my first of my Daily Drawings. Phoenix.The Original line art can be found here

I've seen it on Both sides, I was actually referencing the bishoujo statue I have when I drew this, so blame kotobukiya

I have always loved Jean as the phoenix. Something about that costume, it just works visualy and her characters story/abilities, I Love that you used her MUA2 outfit, very good job.

lol I can do that, but I don't think DA will print it. If you'd like though, I'll enable Downloads and you can find someone to print it if DA doesn't want to do it for you (I think DAs prices are the best for their quality of print)

Wow! I have to say, this is the MOST BEAUTIFUL rendition of the Phoenix costume ever! The detail with the piping and lining brings the costume to life, and makes it look like a uniform as opposed to a leotard. I agree, the Phoenix costume is one of the sexiest costumes out there. I can't wait to see a Dark Phoenix, White Phoenix, and Blue Phoenix (Xmen Forever) recolor. You are amazing! Have you considered doing a Storm, Cyclops, Rogue, Emma, or Psylocke?

The line art for this is part of a daily drawing project I've been doing since the beginning of the year. I've done Emma, Rogue and Psylocke. However my lines have proved dramatically over the past few months, and Jean here is miles ahead of te other girls, I think I'd have to redraw them to do them justice, and because I said I wouldn't I haven't decided if I'd re-do certain characters.
