VERY well done.

It might have been a little more effective to keep the camera viewpoint constant so that the animation wouldn't be self-limiting, but that's a quibble.

Awesome! I loved his ideas. IDK how you would model that. Really cool. XD

Hehe, thanks
This one is actually one of the easier works of Escher to model.
This one doesn't need any visual manipulations. Beside the fact that they defy gravity.

What software did you use to make this?

I'd love to hear the details.

Well done, StefanMGV.

Thanks for the comment ^^

I used 3Ds Max to model this and render it with Vray.

How did you learn to use 3D Studio Max?
Self-taught or school or tutored at work?
Book or experimentation?

(Obviously, I'm hoping to follow in your footsteps. I'm strictly a 2D artist at the moment, but would love to find the right path to doing 3D and anim.)

I've learned a lot from tutorials, friends books and teachers.
Though, surprisingly, the least from my teachers.
And you learn a lot from trial and error. just applying modifiers and checking out what they do and then deleting them again.

Following in my footsteps is a 10 second walk.
I'm still an amateur myself and I haven't achieved anything yet.
I have tons to learn and many artist to learn from myself.

I appreciate your interest though.
It makes me feel a lot better that someone is actually interested. ^^

Good job, you could easily make it more elaborated with people coming from all directions driving the viewer mad! good job anyway!

Haha thanks
I think I'll keep it how it is right now though Might be fun to do another time when I'm done with my current project

Bedankt in ieder geval
