Hands are so difficult to draw! Do you always use blunt shapes first, or do you eventually just know how to draw them?

I was wondering if you always use shapes like rectangles to draw hands!

Using generally very simple shapes to draw in general anatomy,
Using simple shapes and solids to simplify the structure. For the hands use various forms.

generally I do not put all the steps, but my procedure is to simplify using geometric shapes or solids. The bottom hand is more schematic and geometric.
