Description
This is my new painting, realized with color pencils and acrylic. (July 2009)It's the front cover for the new album of the italian heavy metal group [b]Fingernails[/b].
They asked me to paint an angel embracing a vampire, with ruins of a futuristic city as background.
I took inspiration from the famous [URL=[link] ]Amore e Psiche[/URL] by Antonio Canova (1793), and a little citation from [URL=[link] ]Hokuto no Ken[/URL] for the background

oddio, giusto perchΓ© hanno entrambi un cappuccio bianco calato in testa (uno con la gemma, l'altro no). per il resto lui ha una veste di stoffa bianca e rossa, il mio un'armatura d'oro e d'argento. diciamo che si assomigliano un po' nella resa finale (angelo vestito di chiaro e con cappuccio abbassato)
