Hmm, it usre looks like the controls from the film based off of H.G. Wells' work. I've never heard of W.C. Hawkens.

I'm a big fan of time machinery. Came across this whilst researching for my latest Steam Punk Time Machine. Definitely stands out amongst all the designs I've seen.

Cool.
Just to say, some scientists now (like Stephen Hawking) says time travel is possible. As always however, the idea is with a large heap of salt. Like traveling fast one way into the future in a faster than light ships (obviously never talked about in-depth). Still, it's something.

Cool, but since it's steampunk/dieselpunk, can it achieve 88 mph?

Not sure, but 1982 sounds nice. I could clean up as a new wave guy.

I thought the Johnny I know would like to explore the future, that mourning the years of youth and crazyness was rather my own thing...but I was apparently wrong !

The future is ever-changing, my dear Stefan. There are too many possibilities. It would be impossible to know what future I would like best. I try not to think about the future too much these days.
