Done in an art class last year in Highschool, this deserves some explanation.

The two brothers on the left (and most of the painting) is meant to be a rough copy of a painting from 1934 called brothers

The assignment for the class was to replicate a painting, but when I sketched it out on my mini-canvas, i found I had done it too small, and there was extra room left... then I thought of an idea.

Since the picture was rather somber, I decided to lighten it up a bit, and throw in these two girls, the caucasion one is meant to be Alex's grandmother, Ellie (or possibly great grandmother, i've yet to decind) Saying hi to the brothers' little sister. the girls are still innocent enough to not have predjudice towards eachother, they just see eachother as friends
