I'm experimenting around! and wanted to try a couple with Alex in pigtails.So, what do you guys think? her main hairstyle will be what it is now, but should I have her sometimes in pigtails? or maybe have her younger self wear them?
I also tried to simplify it a bit, trying out a different style, some weird balance between manga/anime and cartoons and my own style

(you mean in the first one? yah, she does look a little weird like that... but I was thinking she was looking up at someone and asking a question 
actually, now that I look back at the one on the right, her eyes are way off! she's not looking down enough, she's staring into space

I actually personally like the pigtails but then . . . clashes with Miss Rebbie. People might confuse them? I know Rebbie is more girly and all but it's still too much of a similarity. OR MAYBE, it's not her normal style but since Rebbie is her friend Rebbie sometimes does pigtails for her? You know, girls do strange things for each other xD

Even if her hair is short I see it can still be styled with pigtails. I once tried the same for Shannon but eventually dropped it because even if she did look cute on them when I decided to draw her like that, she seemed to be more "herself" without them

yah, that is my one concern with putting her in them, but as long as I just do it sometimes, and make it clear it's still alex with her freckles and eyes and clothes, and the length, I think i'm fine
