Had the bow been there it'll have been too obvious! Then she isn't whatΒ I'll call a tomboy, just a rugged farm girl.

I used to do a bit more "copying" of poses, it does help you learn quite a bit but these days I rarely do it anymore

How you learn! Sides they are similar anyway.
Right now I bet the "pose" is unwrapping gifts under the tree!?

Thanks!
Alex: yes, once I have enslaved the world with my cuteness, no one can stop me!

If you have trouble drawing hands, try using your own as a reference. Or maybe take a picture of yourself in the pose you want to draw then copy the way you're sitting. And you can buy those wooden hand models from art shops too. And Alex looks really cute here

Nice pose. That pose isn't an easy one to draw, and draw right. And it looks so life like with the pose and proportions. Great job, really. Only thing I can point out as looking odd are the hands, but those are a pain anyway, so who cares? Really nice job on this, keep it up!

Yah, I know, I really have to work on my hands
But thanks ^^

Hands are tough. I mess my hands up at least half the time. I can get a sketch done in under five minutes, unless there are hands. Add in hands and we are talking at least ten minutes to work on just a sketch. Hands. Are. Hard.
Which is why we all need to continuously practice drawing them, right?

Alex: I dunno if "lookin' like i'm six" is a good thing or bad thing... guess it depends on what i'm doin'

*giggles* that's actually true, she might be excited, or she might be grinning mischivously
