Alex: Hey there! Welcome to our farm! what brings yah here? can I help yah with anythin'?It's been a long time since I've done colored, digital art of any characters, and I wanted to change that, so to stretch my digital drawing and coloring skills I made this. In addition to a more detailed style like this, I'm also going to try simpler coloring I can use for comics and such ^^
Sorry if i've seemed dead, I've just been getting adjusted to being a senior in high school, plus I've been kind of sick the last few weeks
If you have any suggestions for improvement, or suggestions on what to draw, feel free to tell me

I had my favorite pair of overalls for 5 years ago, but them my mom threw them away without me knowing just because they had paint splatters, and didn't fit me at all

No, not really. Well all I know right now is that I'm applying ED to Cornell, and figuring everything else out later... yeah that's not the greatest plan..... haha. How about you? Are you going into something Astronomy related?

I was going to apply ED to carleton, but now I'm not so sure and am looking into other options
I'm not sure if I want to do astronomy or not, that's the thing... I'm trying to keep an open mind, and realistically I could want to do anything from science to engineering to technology... i'm just not sure

Ah... yeah, for me I just kinda gave up on searching for other colleges, because I worry so much about finding somewhere *perfect* - I figure, if it's a good school and it seems like a nice place to be I'll be alright. Like, as long as I don't hate it -.- People make such a big deal, and I dunno why...you don't have to get it right on the first try, that's just part of life. idk that's just me.
I mean, you may never be sure about anything, but waiting to see what happens never really works out for me, so I just kinda jump into things sometimes out of frustration. or ADHD. You know, same thing xD anywayss...
From what I know of you, I'm sure you'd like anything related to STEM xD I guess you just find somewhere to start...at least they don't make you declare your major as a freshman in college...
Lol I wrote a lot...it seems lately I tend to go off on rants like that XD except when I'm trying to write my college essays of course!

I like this, you did really well making her jump right off the page, blending the subject, foreground and background together really well to keep the focus and fill in all the space ^_^

Oh, and I do have a suggestion! Try to make the hair all come from one point. Hair generally all comes from the same area, and flows together in one direction.

I used paint tool SAI to line and do the base coloring, and photoshop to shade and add details

Well, I started with a sketch, lined it with my tablet, but then colored and shaded it with my mouse (not worth the effort to use a tablet, and I need more precision)
Well, Kinda, last night I got a really sore throat and stuffy nose, but I feel somewhat better now

I'm in my last year of highschool, so now's about the time I'm doing college applications and tours... it's exciting, but surprising i'm already almost an adult
