Experimenting with new pixel styles,
I'm thinking about maybe doing a little pixel house series ^_^
This house includes a mouse called Tink, she's wearing a little swimming costume and a rubber ring :3
The inspiration for this one came from my art-debt to XD
I said I'd pixel her a sun umberella forever ago and forgot to get around to it
so once I'd finished the umberella, I just kept going and then this happened
I'm quite pleased with the results for once

I was thinking of doing lots of individual houses, then eventually linking them all together like a little street
I haven't beem doing much pixel work lately because I think it frustrates me that I don't have my own style >.<
But the more I'm playing around with it, the more I'm starting to discover what style I think suits me

Well, that is something I learned. Style is developed by doing. As you go along, you'll just do what is natural and eventually it will evolve into your own thing. I think one of the "problems" with pixel art is that when doing things in confined quarters, there is only so many ways to do things. Your window may look like another artist's window, and it has nothing to do with copying a style but the limitation of the artform. Just do your best and eventually your work will be recognizable as your own.
