Finally. Okay guys, here's my quick tutorial on how to draw mlp ponies. The colors correspond to the part of the drawing in the panel you'll be looking at. (: Hope this helps!Note: Dashy's cutiemark is backwards!! Please don't draw it like that! XD

Bleh. I suppose my main problem is trying to draw anatomy, memorization, and getting the "feel" of the perspective correct. I simply have no idea on how to do this. I can copy existing poses from other artists, but making original art is neigh impossible for such a novice such as myself.
I know a few basics back in Art class, but I would like to create something more original than just a copied picture.
I seem to do fine when drawing on physical paper with a Num2. pencil, but using a tablet such as the Android Galaxy 8.0 notepad, and the existing applications...
A pain, to say the least. Everything feels so horribly off. I have no idea where to even start.

Drawing with other applications is hard. I don't blame you! It certainly takes a lot of practice! I use a Bamboo Fun drawing tablet. (: It's like a real pen and paper! So it was relatively easy to get used to it. Not at first though!
Anatomy is hard. Even in this tutorial i see now that my anatomy was very bad! I've improved a lot since then and it just goes to show you that practice really really does wonders! I always start with the head, ear, then neck and body. I use lots of circles when drawing. You just need to practice, i promise, it will help you eventually! (:

It is. Mine was a special edition though that was $168 or so. There are other options though, like Paint Tool Sai! Which i believe is under $100. (:

The Princesses were in another post on a brony website that i found, i made it into an icon first and then sought out the artist (my mistake) but she let me use them. (: They're absolutely adorable!

With the brush tool in Photoshop. I use 100% hardness and i use quick swipes so the line is smooth. Unfortunately, there are no stabilizers in Photoshop like in Sai :c So it makes it harder.

(: I wanted to make one giant mass tutorial that included drawing ponies, mares and stallions and fillies, from scratch, then lineart, then color, and finishing touches. It would be a flash tutorial! Right on! I look forward to it, I think it would be an absolutely amazing idea and I would utilize it greatly. My friend made a MLP: Role-playing is Magic group and they'd like me to draw their characters, I wouldn't mind being able to do a few different poses and make them each look unique.
