Description
Hey guys, I made this really dumb and simple tutorial in like under 30 minutes, and it was originally for a friend, but I think other fledgling pony artists may benefit from it so here you guys go. Do whatever you want with it! Trace it, use it for your practice, enjoy it.Click here for a more detailed and explained tutorial that I did awhile back!

Ah shit I was drawing squares XD - getting the angles right on the back legs as well as that back eye always give me the most trouble

Keep practicing (: Just use basic shapes, and use lines! I call them action lines. Basically, you use a line to plan where a part is going to go or what position/shape it's going to be in. It helps a lot!

My real issue is the random that artist use - everything I've done before this was technical based - having exact values and dimensions ponies a just random blobs on a page XD - I'm getting better - still trying to give that true glassy look to their eyes.

You can definitely draw ponies technically if you'd like! Dunno if this [link] helps or makes sense to you at all!

XD - yeah I've seen that - the thing is when I draw them I draw the head the size it should be thank God for CTRL-T and grouped layers so I can resize to match later

My 10 steps:
1. Draw circle
2. Say "hmm.. not good enough"
3. Make a :/-face
4. Erase
5. Redraw circle
6. Yell at myself: "I SAID A CIRCLE, NOT A TRIANGLE!!?"
7. Repeat step 1-3 a couple more times
8. Give up and go buy new paper and another rubber
9. Decide to give it another try
10. Repeat step 1 and 4 until you erased your whole desk
It's so sad it's not funny >.>

Well..... It's not THAT^ bad, but I can easily spend an hour just designing/drawing the hair on a pony or the mouth >.<
For how long time have you been drawing?

Circles are the best way that i personally know how to create a character! All characters are created by using basic shapes - unfortunately, that means LOADS of circles XD because they are the most natural shape, and we find them a lot in real life.
Sorry my tutorial couldn't help you!

Draw head. Draw line. Draw two circle to make the artwork start to look questionable. Draw an ear to make it look like questionable anthro. Draw the rest of the fucking pony and troll those who thought they were in for some boobtacular art.

All you need to know is:
1 - Draw a circle
2 - Draw the rest of the pony.
