Page 2 for chapter 11 of the Secret Wars.First things first, as not all in between pages have appeared I'll again give a short summary of what happens in between this page and Page 1 . Not much to be honest, a mighty struggle has taken place where the heroes try defeat Ignatious but are utterly crushed by the still partly empowered Ignatious.
In this page we opted to return one of the 'disappeared heroes' back to the fray. Besides who else would be a better match for Ignatious' powers than Janie. She does her best to safe the universe from Ignatious' goal but will it be enough?, stay tuned.

That was the reaction I had to seeing the return of Janie!
It doesn't sound like you asked first though, and that worries me... I mean, I used Psycho without any input from but that was due to previous plans that he was OK with back when he regularly visited DA.

Don't be upset at for not asking permission. If anyone should take the blame for that, then it should be me. I figured if we weren't killing Janie off (for real) or depicting her in an inappropriate manner, then it wouldn't be an issue.

as for asking, at first I thought one of the others in the group had asked, now I'm not so sure, but since I was low on time I decided to post it now and see what happens, so I gave her the right to veto the page and I will scrap it if she is not okay with it. Nothing shocking so I hope she will not mind it in the end.

Now there's a face I didn't expect to see again. I assumed she met with a needley death.
Does this mean that Valemeister is rejoining Secret Wars for the final chapter, or did you just feel like using her character to finish the story?

To be honest it was just using for the sake of the story, we needed an edge for the heroes to fight Ignatious, Janie was pretty much the most solid choice.

Wow - that's an unexpected comeback! Have you spoken with about this? Nice continuity nod explaining where Janie has been all this time - and now a classic fire vs ice battle. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I'll take the blame for not asking, as it was my initial idea to use Janie for this chapter.
To tell you the truth, I didn't think to ask permission while we were planning these pages. I figured it wouldn't be an issue as long as we didn't kill Janie off (for real) or depict in an inappropriate manner. Plus she was just too cool (no pun intended) of a character to NOT use ever again.
