Val attempts to answer some of Gizo's questions..!Hope this clears up a little bit more about their behavior-- kind of think of them as a mix between leopards/lions!

a male spino will claim vast amounts of territory, and within that large territory are female spinos who have smaller territories. He will indeed mate with all of them, and protect them and their resulting offspring from outside males. Those males might want to take over his territory; steal his females, and kill their offspring. or all of the above if a new male kills the dominant male in the area.
in rare cases do some exclusively pair up. but it is extremely rare or the result of a situation/circumstance out of their control (like severe drought, multiple deaths etc)

I sure did! and I had a lot of fun with coming up with ideas in which to do this for the story! I'm enjoying it a lot!
its not scientifically accurate, but hey, everyone has their own theories on dinosaur behavior! And I love seeing everyone's different theories. This world however, has my own version of said behavior ideas.

Definitely cleared it up as to why she keeps on killing males left and right whenever they enter her territory. Again, males thinking with their hormones and their dicks is such a common thing, its hilarious. XD

Poor males, they're just being good bois (or in moora's case HORRIBLE boi) and thinking they'll have an evolutionary advantage by stealing some poor lazy male's female. Only to find out that this task of stealing a girl-- isn't as easy as it seems when faced with the very large, and very angry female in question! Valio is not making it easy for them!
