This always bothered me. Android is not an accurate translation. Cyborg would have been more appropriate. The real question is: why the hell did Doctor Gero leave 18 with functional reproductive organs in the first place?

starting from the saiyen-saga up till the end of the cell-saga.

Dragon Ball Z characters have been shown to be capable of catching bullets back in the Red Ribbon Saga of Dragon Ball. You have to have some pretty tough skin to catch something faster than the speed of sound now matter what angle you try to grab it at. Most punches in DBZ, especially later on, are probably faster than this. Krillin has taken plenty of hits over the coarse of the series, and is very rarely killed by them. Therefore, it is reasonable that after all the training in between the Cell/Android Saga, and when Marin was conceived, he was capable of withstanding the softest part of android 18's anatomy.
This also means that Krillin's genitals can more than likely deflect bullets...

way I do now & DBZ was my first obsession around 10 or 11. xD
