Hey, you already know this but I just wanted it to be said, your last Freedom Leader head will not go to waste, as the person who bought it on e-bay sent it to me so that I could make him a Sally figure that looks as much like this as possible, she will be complete in a few days and I hope I can make you proud.

Sorry everyone, but until I can find a solution to the paint chipping off, I have decided to remove any forward Leg and Ankle movement from the post prototype figure/s.

Never heard of Resin Casting? Oh, well anyway it's similar to plastic, only it's light weight and a lot durable when compared to epoxy and many other materials out there. The only gripe that I've got with using it, is there isn't much that can be done about preventing air bubbles from ruining the mold when you have very little time before this stuff starts to cure; so in a way, about 2/3 of the times of using this stuff is like a trial & error. Good thing that this stuff comes in big bottles.

oh, air bubbles? I remember when I was a kid I had a metal molder, and coating the rubber molds in talcum powder prevented the casts from getting bubbles on their surface, would a coat of talcum powder (aka baby powder) help prevent bubbles in a resin cast as well? Tapping the sides of the mold to make air bubbles float out might help too but preventing the resin from sticking to the sides of the mold might be the best way to eliminate them.

Allumilite.com It's a two set 1:1 ratio liquid mixture. It's absolutely dangerous if it contacts with your hands and it will burn severely. A decent size set can cost around $40; and Alumilite does ship their orders out quite quickly, like up to 1 to 2 days max. Alumilite has a variety of resin casting products that you may find very interesting. Here is a quick sample video of how this stuff works; and there are plenty more videos on their site in case you're interested at getting started with mold casting for yourself. Enjoy.

Dang, that actually looks really difficult to use. Mostly as most the things I require do not have molds and I have poor sculpting skills. I'm sure a normal person could get used to it. You got some serious skill to do that.

Sally looks phenomenal! You're one of the best Sonic customizers I've seen. Your customs look very clean and professional which is a rare thing among Sonic customs apparently.

Eye lids are slightly lower on the the second one? Expression seems slightly more flirty on the second one two.

You're pretty good at this but you didn't mention her hair being a bit shorter (more accurate), or the fact that the new head is one complete single mold.

It's no big deal. I should have an update on the first commission figure with a new shot this coming week.
