Description These are my line drawings of a fictional assault rifle.

The rifle and variants are manufactured by the Alliance Arms weapon research corporation.

Heres some brief info behind each one:

N20: The standard military issue version of the N20 featuring a very robust design and bullpup configuration. It uses a heavy 8.22 x 51mm armour piercing round in 28 round magazines with either semi or burst fire modes, that is aided by an anti recoil bolt that reduces some of the massive kick the round delivers. It also features a retractable stock making it comfortable with both human and hinari, a hand guard, and a 20mm rail on the top for mounting various sights.

N20 C: The CQC version of the N20. It uses a much smaller 5.8 x 42mm round that enables for a higher rate of fire with the burst fire mode replaced by full auto. It features a smaller barrel length, a mounted reflex red dot sight, and a lower mounted 20 mm rail.

N20 C2S: The variant preferred by special ops and police forces, the C2S variant also uses the smaller 5.8mm round with a high rate of fire. The gun is lighter compared to the N20 C, and features an upper and two side rail mounts, an inbuilt flashlight, and a short silencer to reduce noise and muzzle flash.

N20 L: This variant is exactly the same as the standard N20 except it features a longer barrel and grip for greater accuracy. This version is favoured by most alliance troops due to its durability, simplicity and performance.

N20 LH: The N20 L Heavy is similar to the standard N20 L except it has side rails mounts, a larger upper rail mount (removing the iron sights) and an in built 40 mm underside grenade launcher. Though this version is very rarely used by troops due to its large weight.

SN20: This is the long range sniper variant of the N20 design. It features an extended barrel, upper mounted 6x scope, moveable butt and cheek pieces, adjustable trigger, manual casing ejection, and it uses a 50 cal round in 6 round magazines.

S300: An experimental weapon, the S300 uses a special supersonic version of the heavy 8.22mm round, enabling it to fire a lot quieter. The grip has been changed to a compact ergonomic grip and it uses smaller 22 round magazines with semi or burst fire. It also features an inbuilt red dot sight and a long inner silencer, and the same manual casing ejection option featured on the SN20. This version is very compact but packs the same punch although it is only in use with the special forces units as it failed military testing and is also very expensive.

Damn that was long

Nice, but you put the magazine too far back. The design couldn't work in real life. Decent drawings though

Thanks for the comment . Though these sci-fi weapons are only based loosely off of real life weapons and the rounds are triggered by electronic pulses rather than a hammer mechanism so there doesn't need to be any mechanisms at the rear of the weapon except those that help load the bullets.
