So over the recent weeks, I've gotten to know on FA. Who is a bloody good military artist! and when he asked if I wanted to try a colouring collab, I jumped on the wagon without a doubt! since linarting and colouring such detailed drawings as his is just a joy^^My own shading and highlighting could be more detailed, to be honest, but I'm out of practice since I've haven't finished a drawing in over a month.
But I'm pleased with the end result and it took only fairly few hours of work as well^^

It was a really cool surprise to see you suddenly come out with this. I reckon it'll be great if you and him can get onto working on some stuff together, his sketches sure have a lot of lovely detail.
I really like the wrinkles on the jacket, it's really realistic and I think your method of creating them with light and shadow is more effective than just spamming lines. The collar is cool too, great use of the shading to create textures you can just about feel.

oh why thanks mate! yea normally I don't draw much ww2 related art but this artist just drew him SO Detailed and with so much life in the character that I had a blast working on the fellow! ^^
my shading techniques haven't really evolved over the years but it's nice to see there are a time and place for where they fit very nicely.

This picture is so nice, he just looks like one of those chill, tall guys you can easily drink a beer with
Lovely job with the jacket and the foldings, the shading/lighting of it look great! I like the fur-collar, nice job with catching that "flat" and rather smooth texture it would have and not making it too fluffy.
Equipment cant have enough little straps and clicky-things as far as Im concerned, so great job with those aswell!
Also, nice looks on those old retro headphones
