Oh I love doomsday scenarios! Nothing better than sitting with a bucket of popcorn and watching the nuclear blast in the distance, seconds before it melts your face away.
I'm generally interested in things involving ropes, but not spiders. You know, it dosen't mix for me - like vanilla ice cream and mustard.
Can I take one of those grenades/dynamite/pirahna-filled-pool scenarios instead?

hey I never said it had to be spiders^^ only that it involves ropes, a dangerous entrapment and lots of panic and desperation for getting free in time

oh reptilians in this world walk on hind legs and have huge claws so shoes are a bit less practical though there of course reptiles with custom made boots

hmmm, I don't see why they should.
these reptiles are a separate race from mammals in this world where they have a separate culture from mammals. their feets are leathery and tough so they never needed them in the tropical climates they naturally inhabit. for colder climates sure they would use boots but the problem is to make one that isn't shredded to bits by their naturally sharp claws!
As the raptor sniper Murk so wonderfully put it: "Ok, make me a shoe then. Go on. I'll wait. If it lasts a day, I'll pay you."
