Description
The eldrich monstrosity slithered through the dark, it's oily tentacles only barely visible by the dwindling fire. It lets out an unspeakable screech as it lunges at its prey, not knowing that this prey would fight back....--
So here we have my most ambitious drawing yet perhaps, which is an art-trade with my friend where I've drawn his knossian Kyro fighting off some kind of unspeakable monstrosity. I'm quite pleased with the result though it was a long process of getting the highlights correct.

This trade was a great idea, this picture was a great way to get you to move outside your comfort zone and break new ground and I think you've really adapted well to the challenge!
You got the flames pretty spot on and I think the haze of orange really works too, it looks like the sorta dust and particles you'd get from a big lump of dead wood burning. The glow on the fur and on the ground follows on from it naturally too and the general high contrast on the fur is really cool. I'm glad you've got that watercolour brush working, I think it creates a very effective fur texture.
The monster surely was an ambitious idea but the result is really effective. It looks slick and wet and appropriately horrifying.
Thanks again for making this, I was rather surprised you agreed to something so complex but the result is something I think you should be damn proud of!
