Just got done with a boatload of homework and decided to reward myself with a little animating. This was a joint-style animation (not sure if there's a technical term for it) but it was a lot easier than redrawing every component each time. I've decided I like animating robot runcycles! This is my first time animating a horse of any kind, so I apologize if the animation is awkward... I'm not super familiar with how horses look when they run...Foreground and animation done in Adobe Flash. Background painted with Adobe Photoshop.
I hope you enjoy it.

This isn't really a fair critique, well it's not really a critique at all. It's really just praise. I'm the artist and even I see countless flaws with this particular piece. A critique is supposed to point out the good parts of a piece while also noting the mistakes, telling the artist what was good and should be kept for next time, and what needs fixing to bring the piece up to its full potential. I appreciate your praise, really I do, but I know that this piece isn't perfect.

At one point the background stop's moving and the unicorn's running on the spot XD but amazing job, I can't figure out how to make the BG scroll past for my animations :C

Really? Hm, perhaps it's a glitch in the loop of the flashplayer or something. I'll look into it, but the more recent versions of this particular project don't seem to have that problem. I converted each part of my background into "Graphic" symbols and then used a classic tween to move them across the stage
