Hello again! Been some time since I posted anything at all smh
And once again I'm in my ShiningSombra wagon. I'm sorry. It will happen again.
If one of my other pieces didn't make it clear enough, I'm a sucker for corruption, and so here we have Shiny learning the basics of dark magic by a certain umbrum who gladly offered his services
While I dont have any precise story to give context to this, I can give a few points to at least give the illusion of one:
- Shining, against his common sense, makes a binding deal with a recovering King Sombra, some time after the finale. Whether Sombra is threatening his life, or Shining makes the deal in exchange for the Empire's safety, I'm not sure yet.
- Although Shining manages to keep his deal secret, it doesn't stay that way, and as such he is marked as a traitor. He and Sombra escape the Empire immediately.
- Sombra takes Shining to Grogar's Lair to use as a hideout in the meantime, given that, other than Discord, anyone else that knows of its location is currently a statue in Canterlot's Garden.
Made some modifications on Sombra's design based on Orin331 's absolutely gorgeous take on a G5 version .
