what do you mean by "set the layer to soft light, then to multiply"? (in the last step)
i'm working in cs2, if you think that might be an issue...
anyway, it looks great, i've been messing around with the colours and i got some really interesting ones... thanks.

let me see quickly if i have another tutorial that explains in better detail with images, so i dont have to try to do it here without...
oh, okay in the same tutorial, step 3 explains to go to the drop menu in layers pallet and there's also an image of what that drop menu looks like in... [link] that tutorial... the word "normal" (in the first image) you click that and it's a drop-down menu with different options. you just select those options.
Sorry if it's too goofy and round-about, but I could go on forever trying to explain something simple, so I thought I would try to direct you to something I've alrady written.
Hope it helps; if not let me know!

Wonderful tutorial, but I'm a bit confused on step 4. I don't know how to fill a layer with color, or do any of that ._.;; XD;; If you could please explain to me how to do it, I would greatly appreciate it.

you know how to fill the page with color right?
with the paint bucket. all you do is make sure the layer is selected {click on it in the "layers" window} and then use the paint bucker to fill it with color by clicking anywhere in the layer.
if you still have questions, try hitting F1 and searching for the answer or try going to google and looking it up there.
i hope this helped
