Reaper-class destroyer
The Reaper-class destroyer is a very specialized vessel, and the only warship smaller than a capital ship found exclusively in heavy combat zones. The most noticeable and prominent feature of the Reaper is a 250m solid collapsed-shell hassium prow, making its primary function the oldest and most violently effective method of naval combat: ramming. Built around a battleship's main thruster, the Reaper is equipped with enough weaponry to ward off fighter attacks and assault by destroyers and smaller cruisers in order to make it into the hull of an enemy capital ship. Once the prow is firmly embedded in the enemy armour, they can push the enemy ship off course or detach from the prow and detonate it from a safe distance. One of the few things smaller than a capital ship capable of destroying or severely disabling other capital ships, the Reaper is an indispensable asset in any major engagement.
