Description

Victoria-class destroyer

The hull basis for the Whirlwind and Reaper classes of destroyer, the Victoria is unusual for a Magisterial warship in that it mounts no forward railcannons.  Instead, the Victoria-class destroyer mounts 22 forward-facing heavy missile tubes capable of launching 500 megatonne Rockhammer planet-cracker missiles.  Firing these missiles in such numbers can easily cripple even the most well-armoured vessel and, thanks to an array of targeting sensors mounted on the Victoria, each missile can be independently targeted.  With such capabilities, a single, well-deployed and well-commanded Victoria-class destroyer is capable of crippling entire battlegroups with a single salvo.
