one of my favorite of her outfits, it's so dated I love it. & with her casio she'd so be into synth.
I really wish we got more of this era of Gally, she matured into her own person, discovering a love for books, knowledge, teaching & music.Β
I love it when characters have relatable hobbies.

if you ever get 2 hours to kill, I highly recommend it. I was going to watch it again, but it had sold out for the night.

there are some cheesy hollywood bits, but over all its super accurate to both the manga & parts of the OVA. with some slight changes to the plot for time. its a whole lot of fun, & the actress playing Alita/Gally does a fantastic job. the gore has been taken out but it still has a high level of violence, & brutal kills.
critics are crapping on it for being predictable or cliche, not knowing the story is like 30 years old. but audiences are really liking it. every positive or negative review I've seen have been followed up with mainly positive praise for the film in the comments.
if I had to compare it to another film I would say it reminded me a lot of Spider-Man 2(the early 2000 film) in its presentation.
it feels like a film that would of been part of that era, & it would explain the more cheesy bits in the script.
I think its good despite its flaws, & folks who've never known the series seem to like it too.
but I guess whether you think its good or not depends on your perspective as a fan of the series or a fan of film in general.
but everyone agrees that the film is the best adaptation of a manga/anime. & I'm glad that it was Gally/Alita that did it.

Yes alita is the News movie but the Book story is gunnm (the name of manga)

Ah, interesting ! I got all the comics in the 90s can't remember Gunnm being mentioned lol ...
This is one of my favourite Manga ... trying to put 10yrs of comic into 2hrs of movie is a hard thing as the anime proved, just hope the movie is better ...
