Yes, it is the same thing with me and my girlfriend. I live on the east coast of the united states, and she lives in british Colombia, Canada, which is on the west coast. Although we live on oppisite sides of a continent, I never felt closer to anyone else in my life

There's this girl i really like that lives about 5 hours away from me. I'm almost positive she likes me as much as i like here since we've kissed and cuddled before. Next month I'm going to see her and if things go well I'm going to ask her if she'll be my girlfriend. I'm really nervous because we've tried the long distance thing before and it didn't work out, but we were younger then (she was 15 and i was 16 then) and I couldn't visit her. I'm 18 and she's 17 now and i'll be starting college and ironically that means i'll have more time to go see her. I just thought I'd share this since I really like your picture here and your story. His parents are against us....and my brother is against us...
But we might get to meet in a few weeks for the first time over spring break!

I tried giving up long distance relationships. (by long distance i mean like. states away or something.)
but its hard.

Not good lately. I am in London doing an Msc finishing mid september. She is not handling that well anymore, cause I have a job offer that if I accept will have us at a distance again.
So it's a difficult crossroad in my life. I ' d love to go to details , need people to talk to. But it's a very long story

I understand it was very similar for me too. I can only say that you have to be very patient, understanding and try to show the other person how much you care for him without being irrationally demanding.
