wonderful series, and i love the title of this one also as it brings to mind the fantasy novel " the mists of avalon", by marion zimmer bradley

yet another idea. . . how would this be with 1/8s or 1/4s shutter speed
quite great, simple and beautiful.

StephanePellennec In reply to toistaitoinen [2011-07-15 09:09:36 +0000 UTC]
Kiitos Pyry
1/8sec speeds were used in this one: [link]
There's less sharp parts.

. . .
1/4 or even 1/2 and less light. .
. . .
don't be surprised if i try that.

No problem
I have 1/2 on this one: [link]
A lot depends of how much the water moves. If it's very still, then a long exposure will show the shooter own movement like on the one of the link.

enfin, c'est un mythe qui doit exister partout ou il y'a de l'eau.
les sirenes n'en sont qu'une version plus populaire, d'une certaine facon.

Oui les mythes sont universels.

Who knows, maybe some ice-skaters have fallen in the lake in the past?

The colours that I wear
Show me just how much you care, Lady
My body is done
My soul will return
To the Lady of the Lake
What a wonderful and poetical abstract shot!
