After two years on and off due to various professional commitments, this project is finally taking off! Granted, two years makes it a pretty slow start, but head me, Rocketeers, it'll soar, eventually!

Here is the design I ended up with, matching the ride I found that would meet most of the required criteria. At least the most reasonable, dictated by material contingency ones. Namely, my height - I am 6'6"- and the mechanical/power needs for a far greater project than just having this baby built! But I'll explain later...
