How do you guys get such straight lines? Is there a button combination to lock the path or something? Or are your strokes just that stable?

Well, no, nothing I'd know... But I ask myself the same question every time I see those artworks with the geometric patterns 
I think you have to make real quick strokes (so they won't get too shaky) and/or edit them a little with the small eraser (also good to get more vivid outlines). If I think about it, though, I don't think my strokes are very fast... I'll try to pay attention to this next time

Yeah, those mathematically perfect, pixel art recreations are nuts. I don't think I have the patience or control to be that precise. I'm a bit more cross hatchy, and of course lots-o-dots. But I guess it's like they say different stroke for different folks...literally in this case.
