You're really getting some nice brilliant colors here. Mainly egg tempera for those, or oil as well?

How to make colours brilliant?
by the colour-composition,
the contrasts: simultaneous and complementary.
the quantities: lots against a few bits
the brilliance: broken colours against brilliant ones
by the use of light and glazes:
light shines through the colour gets reflected by the white ground and light up the colour layer from the backside (shining- through light) light gets filtered by colour-layers for example: Light through a blue layer on a yellow layer gives green. So it is not so important what binder you use, it is more the use of light and colour as matter.

Oils I use for large areas and well covering colours, modulations and mixtures. Egg-tempera for fine drawing, shading and highlighting oil-colours. And white reflecting underground for the glazes. By the way the mixture of glazes, covering, and semi-transparent colours makes the painting vivid

Mostly I take the automatic program and if the result isn't satisfying than I change the exposure steps higher or lower as it is needed
