Sehr schoen! You have inspired me to try some of these exercises, as I have a lot of lovely shells sitting around my studio.

I just bought a shell today. I found it in one of those expensive gift shops, but the shell was surprisingly cheap. So I had to buy it. Love your shells.

These here are pieces of find from the Maledives, some large ones I bought in Sri Lanka. There I found some beautiful fragments of large shells, the strong waves destroy them at the shores there and build beautiful surreal objects out of them.

I live near beaches, but mostly the shells are small. It's rare to find large shells these days. It's fun to walk along the beach, and look for objects that wash up on shore. I especially enjoy walking when the tide is out. Unfortunately a lot of rubbish washes up as well.
