This is a movie about a character escapes anything, but tomorrow. Bad things happen everywhere, Yes, there are bad things happened everywhere, IN THE ENTIRE, FILM.

Escape from Tomorrow is supposed to be a anti-Disney horror film? Sure, Disney may be have tons of problems, and controversial stuff in today standards in 2021, but this film, has nothing to do with "Escape" on the title, at all.

The movie starts with Jim White, who is an unsatisfied middle-aged man on vacation with his family at Disney World. While his family frolics through the park and is enthralled with the sights and sounds of Disney, Jim finds himself inexplicably obsessed with two French teenage girls. The park environment soon turns to something more sinister as Jim uncovers its secrets. Jim must protect his adventurous kids, placate his suspicious wife, and defend himself against the so-called "happiest place on Earth".

And that's it, that's what the movie is, but overall, it's nothing, but a failed to make Disney-awful back when it was released, eight dang years ago at the Sundance!

From the cover alone, one might think it's an full-color animated horror parody movie involving Mickey Mouse and his friends turning into bloodthirsty zombies judging from the bloodied hand on the cover, yet the movie is a black-and-white live action movie that has nothing to do with Mickey Mouse.

It rarely has anything to do with the "We hate Disney! Let's make this movie that make Disney and Mickey Mouse look evil!" movie.

The acting is just, eh. It's very. VERY. VERY WOODEN, from the casts, hell, even Jim who is an absolutely unlikable and mean-spirited main protagonist, as he stalks other underage girls, abuses his family, and even cheats on his wife. It was later even addressed by Randy Moore that Jim was not really a hero that the audience should root for, but more or less a jerk-a** anti-hero, due to his inappropriate actions he does throughout the film. The characters are incredibly mean-spirited and one-dimensional (except maybe for the evil ex-employee, who at least has some characterization), especially Jim.

Special effects wouldn't work in a few scenes, thus ruining the scene itself like poorly-edited black eyes on a few characters.

Although Disney is a harmless but occasionally controversial entertainment company in real life, the movie goes out of its way to portray them as being more evil than the Nazis. The director even went as far as comparing the company to a satanic cult in a behind-the-scenes interview. While there have been quite a few accidents at Disney World, they are not as frequent as this movie suggests. Also, the ending, is just...Nothing, but a terrible, terrible twist, Jim finally got another woman with his daughter, and they went inside.

Overall, this movie, is just, JUST painful to watch, even if you don't like Disney, you would've probably walked out of this movie that it look liked this is a hate-Disney movie. I'm very neutral to good-old days of Disney, not the nowadays Disney-era, but this isn't how you make a hateful-Disney movie, at all.
