If you can, get "Memoirs of a Geisha" too... Ken does a pretty good performance in that one too.

Oh yeah. Already own it and the soundtrack too. It's one of my favorite movies. Ken is great and Ziyi Zhang is ridiculously hot... and those blue eyes, oh mercy! (If ya can't tell, I dig the movie!)

Totally agree. I haven't seen "The Last Samurai" yet, but I heard it was great and he was phenomenal -- it's on my list of movies to see, though.

I consider it one of Ken-san's best pictures to date, and it was pretty damn faithful to the depiction of the era in Japan, when they were transitioning from the feudal age into the modernized world . . . sad to say it was messy, because of the loss of the samurai and their way of life, but it was a great film.
