Description
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes. In honor of the movie, which I am eagerly anticipating. There's still a little time left to read the book if you haven't... I highly recommend it, you shan't be disappointed. Done in Photoshop in about 10 hours over a couple days.

NIce job! The movie was amazing, and they stayed very close to the graphic novel. My friends and I actually went in the the theatre with "Who Watches the Watchmen?" on the back of our shirts...No one knew what we meant...

Thanks. When I saw it, there were guys dressed as Dr. Manhattan and a theater employee dressed as Silk Spectre

I wish it was like that for us. The theater was practically empty!

Nicely done. I like seeing the characters via Chavis vision. (Chavision??)
Looking forward to the movie .... but tired of all the promos. I like a sense of mystery prior to seeing a movie.

Yeah, I just ordered my IMAX tickets the other day. I'm stoked. I've actually never seen a movie on IMAX first. I've always seen it "regularly" in the theater then IMAX afterward.

It is sometimes a bit TOO intense. The screen is like twice the size of a normal one and the audio comes close to rupturing ear drums... but it's sooooo awesome!

I can't wait for the movie! I hope they stay true to the comic as much as possible. I didn't care about any other comic based movies changing things up a bit but Watchmen doesn't need to be changed any bit :3

I think (emphasis on think) it'll be okay because the director also directed "300" and that was almost spot on to the book. And I agree, there is nothing that needs to be changed.
SPOILER ALERT!
Although, I suspect they will leave out the bit about the comic book THE BLACK FREIGHTER because, while it was a nice metaphor for the book, I think it'll be too cumbersome for a 2 hour movie.

Yeah, I think they'll leave that out too.
I actually read on wikipedia that when they approached a different director and asked him to help with the movie, he refused twice because he said he could see the Watchmen more as a 3 part tv series just to fit everything in lol
They'll definitely be leaving things out and shortening scenes. I think the whole Mr. Manhattan narrative in the comic will be cut out completely lol Just because it was repeating and confusing as hell XD

I think a trilogy would be a great idea, but the American movie goer is not gonna sit through 3 movies of Watchmen. Even though it's considered the greatest graphic novel ever written, I think they might still have a tough time filling seats...
