Waterfall Gully, we're going, I just decided.

Clean and sharp. The contrast is very nice, though some of the deeper shadows swallow up the details. it would be great to see the texture that is hidden. i'm loving the reflection of the waterfall.

what's your stance on selective darkening?
I had to do that to the rocks in the foreground.

i feel that anything you can do to enhance the image while keeping it looking natural is fine in my book. Typically, if it can be achieved in a darkroom, i'm cool with it. if you had been shooting film, you may have been able to skip editing all together because of the increased dynamic range.

thanks, me too! it's magical. Well atleast the part in the photo is. The main entrance is a bit superficial-looking with the cement everywhere. But still awesome!!!
