Follow up of Can't Escape Raikou: [link]So here's the second one my sister asked me to do, this time it happened to and her Noctowl.

This totally happened to me too! I didn't have any Pokemon that could prevent it from escaping so I just put it to sleep. Much screaming was heard a few seconds later. XD

Somehow, it can.
It'll still be asleep next time you encounter it. Which just raises further questions.

A simliar thing happened to me with Entei. Surf encounters for the win indeed. XD But I had a Gengar that knew both Hypnosis and Mean Look so that was really helpful in letting me catch those two!

Yes. And the roaming Pokemon will still be asleep the next time you encounter it. And the time after that, and so on, and so on... basically, until you catch it or do something to wake it up (e.g. Wake-Up Slap, trap it and fight until it wakes up, give it a Chesto/Lum Berry via Bestow, Trick, or Switcheroo, etc.) Very handy, actually, as this means that you can follow it around and hurl Quick Balls at it until you finally manage to catch it.

I always told myself "How is that even possible?!" when any of the legendary trio flees when they are either asleep or paralyzed.
And, just like almost everyone else, the last panel made me laugh.
