Description
My first try at a repeating pattern. I did it manually and then colored in Photoshop.I followed this tutorial: [link]
It was really fun to try!
My favorite tea-related things.
Shush, you can drink tea from a champagne flute.
Art is mine.
Thanks for looking!

This is absolutely lovely and so fun to look at. Really awesome work!
I have a question, would it be alright to use this to create a wallpaper in the game The Sims 2 to share? I would give full credit and put a link to your page in the info.
It is fine if you would rather me not make it though. ^^

You don't really need one to do a pattern- you can do it on paper! If you're real neat with it, you could just scan it and use that.

It's beautiful. I'm tempted to use it on something. I don't know what, but I want to.
So, does it really work even though it's textured?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
stephillo In reply to Kyendo [2010-01-16 03:09:25 +0000 UTC]
Yes! The textures took some work, but I just put it on and then used the Offset filter, which basically does the same thing as the tutorial I linked, but digitally. Then I just smoothed out the edges.
I highly suggest playing with the Offset filter, I don't even use the paper anymore, you just draw in the middle and then Offset, and draw in the rest. It's fun
Thanks for the lovely comment!

SWEET MAN do all the edges match up together like if you wanted to make it a website background?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
stephillo In reply to hizzacked [2010-01-16 03:10:21 +0000 UTC]
HELLS YEAH it does. Offset filter in Photoshop makes it work. I have a just lines version I think I'm gonna use on my site. Not hard at all once I figured out how to do it.
