Description This is Lyrn, a possible character in Akakami. He's a Lycan (Werewolf, for those not savvey enough), and a member of the Azure Tribe, so called because they have blue fur, an uncommon trait. He's really shy, and would prefer to run away than fight, but gets very attached to Aka because of her kind nature (which pisses Trent off to no end. xD )

Lyrn is under the care of Lorca, an older Lycan who teaches Trent the first of his many lessons on how to use his Daemos powers. After Trent's training, Lyrn stays with the group for a while to learn about other species. All Lycans are enemies of Vampires, but because of the nature of Vampires (who live in the city, while the Lycan live in the wilderness) they rarely have confrontations.

I colored this with a lot of energy, so I'm very happy with it. I was inconsistent with the fur color, and ended making his Lycan form darker, but overall, I really like it. I'm especially pleased with his leg and arm warmer things...so shiney. And his shorts too. I can't seem to get away from men with shiney black pants... xD

You forgot the "thrope" from the pseudoscientific name for werewolves, but the picture and backstory totally make up for it. Is it cool if I'm commenting on an artwork over a year old?

It's cool.

I like to think that Lycans and Lythopes are different species, almost like two subspecies of the same animal. Lycans never take on a 'human wolf' form, staying as either a wolf, or a mostly human (or 'fuzzy hume' ). Lythropes are the more traditional 'werewolves', although that's not quite right either, as seeing how in the story, Werewolves are created when a human eats the heart of a Lycan and becomes cursed. D;

I always thought of werewolves considered their own species, whereas only a hybrid were-human-wolf-thing would be able to fully change from human to wolf and back again, but myehh. We're SUCH nerds

Nice^^ It has great movement and color scheme^^ The coloring is very smooth and neatly done. The only thing I might suggest is maybe some kinda border or simple BG is it doesn't distract from the characters, but also doesn't look as empty. Hope that helps alittle? Nice job^^
