- click download for larger size -From a distance, I saw this mother duck had some young ducklings playing around her, but by the time I came close enough to photograph, they had all disappeared under her wings... I came as close as i could without disturbing her too much, set up my tripod and tele lens, and waited....
a looong time...
. In the end I only got to see and photograph two of them. This one is Duckling 1 .
After my walk, on my way back I passed there again. Now again the ducklings were playing all around her. But because of the scarce light, I didn't succeed in making any good pics any more, but I counted them... there were at least 13 !!
