Description
An older TF sequence that I've redrawn and coloured, which is why it doesn't look like some of my more recent stuff.
Story below.

She had finally been given permission to present her research to the
scientific panel, who would decide whether to grant further funding.
Tendra carried the tissue sample with her in a small box, as she
walked nervously to the meeting room. Pausing outside the door to
collect her thoughts she was pleased to see a few of her colleagues
pass by to give some encouragement. With a deep breath she entered
the room.

At first the presentation seemed to be going well. Her graphs and charts
went down well, the results showing significant promise. She
confidently answered any questions from the senior scientists. At
last the time came to present the panel with her sample, a
genetically engineered life form, which secreted a substance which
could be used just like oil. Her artificially bred creature could
solve the worlds energy problems almost over night. Excitedly she
opened the container and took the small, slimy mass of tentacles and
tendrils in her hand.

Tendra was mid way through her explanation about the genetic instability of
the creatures when she felt something slimy push into her other hand.
Glancing down she saw a second ball of tendrils stuck to her fingers.
This was bad. She knew the life forms multiplied by dividing and
splitting themselves, but sometimes they would merge back together,
enveloping and absorbing anything in between. Usually this was just
some food, or a piece of equipment. She had no data regarding what
would happen to a living organism like, for example, herself.
