This is an abstract painting I've been noodling with, on and off, for a while now.

Usually, it's my intention to eventually lock something like this down to a more literal image, but in this case it seemed to look interesting enough as is (at least to me it did!)

This image is built up with many many layers, and it incorporates a lot of different techniques from brush painting to custom shapes to layer masks.

If it somehow conveys large scale, and has a vaguely sci-fi feeling, that was the intent
