Have I mentioned it anywhere that you can use the outlines of my doodle dumps if you want? Probably not because I'm stupid . Just send me a note if you want to use any of the ones that I already made, I'll send them to you then ^^

Well the main part is, on how stabilisers work, does it make your lines more straight?

The stabilizer does exactly that!, If you try it you'll notice the line moves more slowly depending if you choose S-1, S-2, S-3 and so on all the way to S-7 the higher the the number at the end the slower the line is giving you more control over yours lines!. I use Sai as well and it's saved me hours of struggling with my line art in photoshop. I hope this answers your question. Have a great day.

Stabilisers? Err ;-;
Well you can for example just sketch or make the outlines on a normal layer and sai basically uses your raw input without adjusting it (This is what I usually do)
Or you can use a Linework Layer for your sketch/outlines.
You don't have access to the regular tools of a normal layer there (where you mostly have to do everything by hand), but you can generate lines and curves (you just set dots and it renders the connections inbetween) or you can draw with the pen tool and it converts the lines you made into several dots and renders the connections inbetween (and I guess this what you mean ) you can add, move, switch between straight or curve, connect and remove dots from such lines and you can deform, copy or delete the whole lines. So you'll probably have to stabilize the lines manually here when you draw with the pen.
I made the outlines for this picture through drawing the sketch on a regular layer with the regular pen and then adding a linework layer where I made the outlines using the dots (not the pen in this case) and I adjusted them until I was happy with the outcome.
