beyond good... thats a great idea, if nothing else... i love the constant greens... didyou use regular Gaussian blur for this? looks so much more natural...

i used the lens blur effect in photoshop CS. it immitates real camera blur. With highlights etc. then i used norm gus just to make it how i wanted. Thnkyou so much for the comments!

really intersting what you've done here! Very godo way of showing how much a small change in focus can actualy change an image! also nice the way you have the butterfly and the eye colour the same! nice idea and well executed!

thanks heaps. it was actually 2 diff photos. the background and then the butterfly. and i blurred them 2 diff ways and made it like focus
