It says decay in the horror section for degital art so i guess this is what this is.A slow decay.
I wanted to show beauty is just skin deep.

The horror/macabre genre done like this is starting to get overused, however I still enjoy it. Call it a guilty pleasure like watching a soap opera. The skin degredation and peel is fairly unique compared to much that you see, as its somewhat realistic in that manner rather than the usual chunks coming off of the face.
The veins are a nice touch in this case, not being overly done, yet being enough to be realistically visable. The eyes of course aren't real, however with the way you've done them, it appears that the person may be wearing contacts which is actually a lot better than what others have done; mostly showing the darks and light variations in the eye along with the reflection.
The angle is definately different and the close up helps this piece out tremendously. It does appear that you stopped short in a few areas like the lips. It may just be a trick of the eye but it appears like the face is cut off by something, possibly a piece of cloth or an arm. Overall, youv'e done a good job with this.

A great piece. Love the colours and the unity they've given to the piece, the way you've repeated the red in the eyes and the mouth and the poison green in the brows and the background. The suggestion of plaster crumbling also adds to the theme. I might be inclined to crop the image though, below the lips so only the face is visible...
