It wasn't easy. After we got done shooting we soaked for two or three hours till the snow and rain started really coming down. The 1/2 mile walk out of there was hell on earth.

I'm sure it was! Just that little description reminds me of clean-up time after those late night structure fires in the middle of January. As far as photography, I'm a coward: I usually try to limit my outdoor trips to warmer seasons.

The water bubbles up from the ground at around 100 deg F year round.
