Description
When Liliana blows a kiss, it can crack the earth's crust, spewing out molten planet as though Mother-Gaia herself were nothing more than a giant, white-hot whipped-cream filled balloon.However, it is an ultimately sexy wake of annihilation; you'd die happy.
Here we see the lovely Mistress of Death showing off her sleek new dress of hideous, screaming doom. Woven entirely from the shredded hopes of the unfortunate souls who've crossed her. (Which, as it turns out, makes a comfortable, breathable material which accentuates both shapeliness, and pure smoldering evil.)
As is not uncommon for me, I have two versions of this card. One that's a little simpler, clearer, and so will work better when shrunk down to card size. And another, that is dripping with detail and extras, that would pretty much look like super grainy multi-color sand at card size. So I give you both the official version, and the blingtastic version.

Just wanted to say that I love both versions of this Liliana, but I prefer this art to the one used by WotC ; simple opinion, engages only me.
I can't figure out if you only paint or if you also model in your arts ; anyway, I would be very happy to have only the tenth of your talent in painting and in modeling (seeing your work on Thalaasa, I'm speechless). Bravo !

The detail is impeccable. You have successfully enabled Liliana's devious, yet enchanting wit to be embodied by her smile. Her avid passion for necromancy and her narcissistic empowerment at the expense of others is conveyed ubiquitously throughout the image through the juxtaposition of the numerous skulls and treacherous fires that line her surroundings with her refined and ornate appearance.

You've most likely heard this one before, but I must say this image most certainly suits her more then the original Vess Card. Sure the Vess card made her look more 'powerful' but it also seemingly got her confused with someone Red.
This card however, shows not only her charisma and attractiveness, but also shows how people could make the mistake of working with her, despite KNOWING shes either evil or going to screw them over rather badly.

Holy shit, you're the one who drew this? I've been looking for a full, unmarked version of this picture since it was released as a poster thingy plastered on the window of our Magic store. You did wonderful - I found myself staring at the painting trying to figure out your technique while baffled at how gorgeously executed this was. Well done!
