Something a little different from me. Not only is it a caricaturized anthropomorphic rat, but this is entirely non-digital. Real paint, like a real artist might use.This was a Christmas present to my brother in law. It is an amalgam of the entirety of my wife's family. They are the anti-me. They like things outdoorsy, cold, wet, and without internet access. I sunburn going out to get the mail at midnight. They build things, fix things, and help out wherever they can. I hide from responsibility, and if I can't get it with Amazon Prime, it's unhaveable.
So this is them. Strong, wet, short.

This piece made me laugh. The first thing that came to mind was "I HAS A SPOON!!" even though that's clearly an oar. The foam from the water is absolutely beautiful.

Reminds me a little of "Polka," though only in the physique. Polka is a squirrel, part of the squirrel horde, in the webcomic Bullfinch. He's a berserker who can take on anything, so far he's always won too. The main character, KC Raken, had to face him when he was turned into a squirrel for a weekend. He somehow wound up leader of the squirrel horde after it, which is nowhere near the strangest thing that's happened in that comic.

I once drew a hamster posed eerily similar to this. He was an awesomely rugged hamster, so we named him "Arnold".
