Zombie movies seem to embody a curious theme of “You know what sucks? The living dead. You know what sucks way worse? The living living. Those guys are super jerks.” Zombies are mostly just groaning, floppy wet heaps of lameness. Because of their shambling mindlessness, their actual threat level is less than a mysterious slice of pizza at the back of the fridge. People in desperate, panicked situations however, are worse than frenzied, meth-withdrawing, turbo twin-engined robosharks with five mouths each.

This is a concept painting for one such frenzied extinctionestival.

A question for those with keen enough eyes to notice. The naked shrieking fellow: Blood thirsty zombie? Human who’s brain-cracked from exposure to such violence? Secret flasher cheering in celebration that his days of the shackles of modesty are finally at an end?
